District Administration Doda Organizes Capacity-Building Workshop on PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan DODA, SEPTEMBER 14, 2026: The District Administration Doda today organized a comprehensive capacity-building workshop on the implementation of the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan (PMGS-NMP) at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex, Doda.  The session aimed to strengthen integrated infrastructure planning, promote multi-modal connectivity, and enhance coordination among various government departments for the effective and time-bound execution of development projects across the district.  The workshop was organized pursuant to a communication received from the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Jammu. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), Doda; District Programme Officer, Doda Panchayat; and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Assar, along with district-level officers and stakeholders representing various government departments.  The General Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC), Doda, Mohd. Asfaq Khanzi, participated as the District Nodal Officer for coordination with the Department of Industries and Commerce, Jammu. Officers and representatives from PWD (R&B), Hydraulic, JPDCL, PHE, Irrigation, PMGSY, Mechanical, REW, Education, Health, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Social Welfare, Youth Services and Sports, Planning, Statistics, Transport, Fisheries, Handlooms, Handicrafts, and other concerned departments also participated in the session. During the meeting, the Technical Officer of the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan provided an overview of the PM Gati Shakti portal and briefed the participants on its various features and procedures for handling and updating data on the portal. The workshop focused on familiarizing officers with GIS-based spatial planning tools, integrated digital data platforms, and geo-tagged infrastructure mapping under the PM Gati Shakti framework. Detailed discussions were held on the importance of sharing departmental data, identifying infrastructure gaps, avoiding duplication of projects, improving last-mile connectivity, and ensuring coordinated planning of roads, utilities, and other public infrastructure.  The participants were also sensitized to the importance of technology-driven and evidence-based planning for better prioritization, monitoring, and implementation of developmental projects. The session emphasized that effective adoption of the PM Gati Shakti approach would facilitate whole-of-government coordination, optimum utilization of resources, faster project execution, improved connectivity, and greater transparency in infrastructure planning. The district officers and stakeholders were advised to ensure timely updating of relevant data and maintain close inter-departmental coordination for aligning district-level projects with the objectives of the National Master Plan.

*SSP KISHTWAR VISITS CHATROO, REVIEWED SECURITY MEASURES AND HOLDS PCPG MEETING* Kishtwar, Sept. 08, 2026:  *SSP Kishtwar Sh. Sunny Gupta-IPS* today visited *Chatroo* and reviewed the security arrangements and policing measures in the area. He also reviewed the security arrangements along the Sinthan Top route. Later, *SSP Kishtwar* visited *PP Mughalmaidan* and held a *PCPG meeting* with members of the public. ADC reviews enforcement of NGT guidelines in Bhaderwah Stress laid on 100% door-to-door waste collection BHADERWAH, SEPTEMBER 15: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal, today chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the implementation of National Green Tribunal (NGT) guidelines. He directed stakeholder departments to intensify measures for environmental protection, sanitation and scientific waste management across the subdivision. The ADC stressed strict and effective implementation of environmental norms and called for daily monitoring of waste collection systems, along with the mandatory sharing of geo-tagged photographs on a daily basis to ensure transparency and accountability.
