SSP DODA HELD CRIME REVIEW MEETING OF POLICE STATION DODA

SSP Doda, Sh. Sandeep Mehta-JKPS, held a crime review meeting at Conference Hall PCR Doda, which was attended by supervisory officers, SHO, IC PPs, and all IOs of PS Doda. During the meeting, all under-investigation cases of the current year and backlog cases were discussed with the IOs, and necessary instructions/directions were issued to expedite investigations, ensure quality investigations, and maximize disposal within the time limits of 60 and 90 days. SSP Doda emphasized to the officers the importance of ascertaining forward and backward links in NDPS cases to reach a dead end and identifying habitual offenders of NDPS for their detention under PSA, in addition to initiating proceedings for the attachment of their property. In UAPA cases, SSP Doda directed the IOs to collect circumstantial and electronic evidence and dispose of the cases for judicial determination.

SSP Doda also directed supervisory officers and IOs to keep surveillance over suspects, drug addicts, OGWs, trouble creators, evil designers, and rumor mongers, and take preventive action to maintain law and order at any cost. The officers were also briefed on the CCTNS front, such as the extensive use of ICJS, Data Bank Services, MedleaPR, e-Sakshya, and e-Summons, which were also taken up during the meeting for the timely execution of e-Summons, with a commitment to streamline progress and reduce delays. Progress on mandatory utilization of FSL services was also discussed. He directed all officers to personally enter case details in CCTNS to ensure accuracy and accountability.
