KUPWARA POLICE HOLDS MEETING WITH FAMILIES OF MARTYRS

Kupwara, January 14, 2026:

Kupwara Police today held an interaction meeting with the families of martyrs at the District Police Lines (DPL), Kupwara. The meeting was chaired by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kupwara, Shri Al-Tahir Gilani.
During the meeting, the SSP patiently listened to the grievances and concerns raised by the families of martyrs. Several issues were addressed and resolved on the spot, reflecting the police department’s commitment towards the welfare of martyrs’ families.
The Incharge Savera Cell was directed to closely follow up on the pending cases to ensure timely redressal. SSP Kupwara reaffirmed continued support and assured the families that Kupwara Police remains fully committed to their welfare, dignity, and well-being.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, strengthening the bond between the police and the families of brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation.
