J&K Youth Welfare Forum Holds Girls Team Interaction Under the Chairmanship of Dr. Aijaz Ahmad Bhat
The J&K Youth Welfare Forum (JKYWF), Ray of hope held an interactive session for its girls' team, chaired by founding president Dr. Aijaz Ahmad Bhat. The interaction was attended by female members from nearly 25 different villages in Lolab, who are representing their respective areas.
The key focus of the discussion included strategies for working together in challenging situations for the benefit of our country and community. Participants explored ways to collectively safeguard, clean and conserve the environment, generate employment opportunities and support the livelihoods of those in their surroundings. They also discussed how to assist in conducting marriages for deserving girls, bridge the gap between the public and administration and organize medical camps to enhance the overall well-being of Lolab.
Additionally, the attendees emphasized the importance of establishing a university in Lolab, improving the Sopore road and ensuring access to quality health and education facilities in local schools and colleges.
The team expressed their gratitude to the core members of JKYWF for providing them with the opportunity to join the team. One new volunteer from Dever shared that she had been waiting for two years to join this team, stating, "Alhamdulillah, my dream came true today." Another volunteer from Tekipora expressed her joy, saying, "Today, my prayers were answered because I am officially part of JKYWF, a dream team for social service." Several others echoed similar sentiments, affirming that they could truly contribute to society through this team.
The President Dr. Aijaz Ahmad Bhat thanked all participants for attending the interaction and expressed hope that together, they could bring about a revolution across Lolab and Kashmir in general. He emphasized that they are now a family and that collectively, they can achieve everything they can do for the people, from assisting those in need to securing development from the government.
It is noteworthy that this interaction is one of the first organized by any group in Kupwara, attended by representatives from over 25 areas, focusing on training and awareness as civil defense volunteers in addition to social work.
